Open template – shift D - Close original - Remove “credit”
Resize width 500 – image canvas size – 520 x 520 center
Remove credit and background
Open new raster– select all – open paper 10 – paste into selection – select none – apply the mask – layers merge group – send to bottom
Hightlight
Circle base – select all – float – defloat – open paper 14 – paste as new layer – selection invert – delete
Circle edge, rectangle edge and top square– adjust – color balance – manual color correction - - new color black – add drop shadow
Rectangle base – select all – float – defloat – open paper 3 – paste as new layer – selection invert – delete – drop shadow
Inner & Inner 2 – select all – float – defloat – open paper 19 – image rotate free left 45°– paste as new layer – selection invert – delete – drop shadow
Top square base – select all – float – defloat – open paper 7 – paste as new layer – selection invert – delete – drop shadow
Select this raster – float – defloat – open “Christmas In Pink” – image grey scale – copy & paste – select invert – delete – add drop shadow
Open elements and resize:
(Be careful when you resize or rotate it is sometimes necessary to sharpen)
Bell – width 100
Butterfly – width 100 – rotate free left 20°
Branch – rotate right 90° * resize width 250
Branch 2 – rotate free left 60° - resize width 200
Berries – rotate free right 90° - resize width 250
Stars – width 300 – duplicate
Folded star – width 100
Add drop shadow and place all items (look at my tag for example)
Copy - Paste your tube as new layer. Resize if need it.
Add your name and copyright info. Merge visible.
Save as png or jpg.

Activate background – select all – open paper 1 – paste into selection – select none – apply the mask – layers merge group

Liège pleure - Liege cry
"Nous sommes liégeois, tristes et antiracistes"
Mardi 13 décembre, un événement tragique, inimaginable est arrivé à Liège.
Nous tous sommes particulièrement touchés par le décès de deux adolescents qui sortaient de leurs examens, un bébé de 17 mois "un petit ange" qui s'appelait Gabriel.
Et si c'était moi ? Et si c'était mon copain, ma copine, mon frère, ma soeur ? Nous sommes de tout coeur avec les proches, les amis et familles des victimes.
La colère face à un évènement qui n'a pas d'explication logique, qui survient comme ça sans que personne n'arrive à expliquer pourquoi ...?
Nous passons tous à cet endroit et hier des centaines de liégeois ont ressenti de la peur dans un endroit familier et cette peur souvent se transforme en colère.
La colère de voir que parce que le tueur a un nom arabe, certains appellent aujourd'hui ouvertement au racisme. Ce qui a pris à cet homme aujourd'hui, nous ne le comprenons pas car cet acte est inimaginable et nous avons encore du mal a le réaliser.
Et bien entendu, nous ne pouvons pas l'accepter.
Mais ce n'est sûrement pas son origine ou sa "race" qui en est la cause.
Nous sommes tous des êtres humains, égaux, de toute nationalité.
Les conséquences de cette tragédie auraient été les mêmes si cet acte avaient été posé par un flamand, un américain, un norvégien ou autre.
Peu importe.
Nous sommes tant en colère contre ce qui est arrivé que contre ceux qui profitent d'un tel drame et acte de folie meurtrière pour diffuser la haine et l'intolérance.
Pour appeler à une société toujours plus divisée, où les gens se rejettent entre eux.
Dans un tel moment, ce dont nous avons besoin, c'est bel et bien de la solidarité.
Il est temps d'agir, l'individualisme et la peur de l'autre, de ce qui est différent et montré du doigt sont les causes de ce cercle vicieux qui s'installe de plus en plus, lentement mais sûrement et duquel il est difficile de sortir.
Face au repli sur soi et au racisme, il est temps de défendre la solidarité!
Et ce, en hommage et dans le respect des victimes. La folie n'a pas de nationalité ni de couleur!

Tuesday, December 13, a tragic, unimaginable happened to Liege. We all are particularly affected by the deaths of two teenagers who came out of their examinations, a baby of 17 months "an angel" named Gabriel.
And if it was me? And if it was my boyfriend, my girlfriend, my brother, my sister?
We wholeheartedly with family, friends and families of victims. The anger over an event that has no logical explanation, like that which occurs with no one can explain why ... We all go there and yesterday hundreds of Liege have felt fear in a familiar place and this fear often turns into anger.
The angry that because the killer has an Arabic name, some now openly call racism.
What took the man today, we do not understand it because this act is unimaginable and we still have a hard time realizing it. And of course we can not accept it. But it is certainly not its origin or "race" which is the cause. We are all human beings equal, of any nationality.
The consequences of this tragedy would have been the same if this act had been made by a Flemish, an American, a Norwegian or another.
Whatever.
We are both in anger against what happened against those who benefit from such a tragedy and an act of murderous folly to spread hatred and intolerance. To call for a society that is increasingly divided, where people reject them.
In such a moment, what we need is indeed of solidarity.
It is time to act, individualism and fear of others, what is different and pointed to the causes of this vicious cycle that moves more slowly but surely and which it is difficult to escape.
Faced with the withdrawal and racism, it's time to defend the solidarity!
And, in honor and respect the victims. Madness has no nationality or color!
