Briging in the New Year

Supplies Needed:
PSP 9 (any version should work).
Tube of choice
Mine is a “Burlesque” from Victoria Fox
You may not use this tube without licence
you can buy the tube on Up Your Art
PTU scrapkit “Elegant New Year” from Le Paradis duScrap
You can buy the kit on Scrappin Dollars
Template 155 Created by Millie
Font of choice
Mask of choice
 Drop shadow: 2 - 2 – 60 – 7

Lets get started…..!

Open template – shift D – delete credit & raster 6

Highlight

Background – select all – open paper 3 – paste into selection – select none – apply the mask – layers merge group
Raster 1 - select all – selection float – defloat - open paper 6 – copy & paste as new layer – selection invert – delete – add drop shadow
Raster 2 – select all – selection float – defloat - open paper 5 – copy & paste as new layer – selection invert – delete – add drop shadow
Do the same action with raster 3
Raster 4 - select all – selection float – defloat - open paper 3 – copy & paste as new layer – selection invert – delete – add drop shadow
Raster 5 – select all – float – defloat – flood file with a color from the tube – add a little inner bel – add gradient glow (optional) rotate free right 90°
Raster 7 - select all – selection float – defloat - open paper 9 – copy & paste as new layer – selection invert – delete – add drop shadow
Raster 8 - select all – selection float – defloat - open paper 1 – copy & paste as new layer – selection invert – delete
Raster 10 add gradient glow – add drop shadow

Layers merge visible


Open elements and resize (if needed):
Never work on the original design - always shift D
(Be careful when you resize or rotate it is sometimes necessary to sharpen)
35 – width 250
46 – width 280
29 - width 150
38 – width 300 – add noise (uniform – monochrome – 35) duplicate – mirror
20 – width 150
31 – width 200
5 – width 150
7 – width 150
39 – width 120
40 – width 120

 Place all items look my tag for example– add drop shadow
 Copy - Paste your tube as new layer. Resize if need it.
Add copyright info. Merge visible.
I resize mine width 520
Save as png or jpg.
