Winter Joy

Supplies Needed:
PSP 9 (any version should work).
Tube of choice
Mine is “Sweet Christmas” close

Font of choice mine is Petey Rone
Mask of choice
Drop shadow: 2 - 2 – 60 – 7
Lets get started…..!
Open template – shift D – delete credit & gold stars – resize width
600
Highlight
Background – select all
– open paper 16 – paste into selection – select none - apply the mask – layer merge group
Gold oval - select all –
selection float – defloat - open paper 18 – copy & paste as new layer –
selection invert – delete – add drop shadow
Green oval - select all
– selection float – defloat - open paper 4 – copy & paste as new layer –
selection invert – delete – add drop shadow
Shape gold frame -
select all – selection float – defloat - open paper 15 – copy & paste as
new layer – selection invert – delete –add drop shadow
Gradient shape - select
all – selection float – defloat - open paper 12 – copy & paste as new layer
– selection invert – delete –add drop shadow
Red star - select all –
selection float – defloat - open paper 10 – copy & paste as new layer –
selection invert – delete –add drop shadow
Green rectangle - select
all – selection float – defloat - open paper 6 – copy & paste as new layer
– selection invert – delete –add drop shadow
Top gold circle - select
all – selection float – defloat - open paper 2 – copy & paste as new layer
– selection invert – delete –add drop shadow
Do the same with bottom
gold circle
Word art – take lasso
tool to select “Santa” – adjust – color balance – manual color correction –
choice a color from kit
Do the same action with “Baby”
& “Hurry….” But with another color
Layers merge visible
Open
elements and resize (if needed):
Never work on the original design - always
shift D
(Be careful when you resize or
rotate it is sometimes
necessary to sharpen)
101 – original size
22 – width 350
32 – width 200
23 – width 350
87 – width 100
78 – width 250
27 – width 150
80 – width 100
25 – width 100
66 – width 100
88 – width 100
89 – width 150
92 – width 150
Place all items look my tag for example– add drop shadow
Copy - Paste your tube as new layer. Resize if need it.
Add copyright info. Merge visible.
I resize mine width 520
Save as png or jpg.
